An Inspector Calls- Theatre Trip

J.B Priestley's Masterpiece came to life... (English - 22/02/2016)

In February a group of Year 11 students went to Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre to see the acclaimed stage production of an Inspector Calls, along with hundreds of other local students. The students were enraptured by JB Priestley’s symbolic exploration of pre and post war Britain and the class system that he felt was holding it back. Students were engaged with the performance, discussing it vividly the entire way home. A fact which will surely help them when they look at the text again in their exams.
