'Eggstreme' cranes by DE students
Year 12 students brought all their theoretical knowledge of structures together to solve an engineering problem.
They were challenged to build the most cost effective crane which could safely pick up an egg 1 meter away, lift it over a 300mm wall and then safely put it down.
No eggs were harmed in this project.....Well maybe a few!
