Great mathematicians are resilient
Last week, our pupils in Key Stage 3 have demonstrated great resilience whilst completing their GL assessments. These national assessments review pupils' mental maths ability, in addition to their knowledge across a broad range of topics within the Curriculum. These assessments are an opportunity for pupils to demonstrate their progress and hard work during their time at NUAST. We are very proud of the attitude and focus our pupils in Years 7,8 and 9 have shown during what can be a stressful period.'
While a stressful time for some it is also a crucial learning opportunity. Each student has had the chance to experience pressure and to show the desire and resilience to succeed. The information gained will help us guide students in their future learning to maximise their future progress.
