Pupils at NUAST are celebrating after receiving their A-Level results

Pupils and staff at Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology, part of the Nova Education Trust are elated after receiving their stunning A-Level grades today. Results are even better than last year with even more students getting A*/A grades.
Dave Thompson, Headteacher has said “The hard work and resilience of our students over the last two years has been incredible and it has been rewarded with transformational results. By achieving the best grades our students have successfully secured their first choice of university or chosen next steps. I wish them all the very best for the exciting futures they have ahead of them.”
Assistant Headteacher, Cheryl Farrington stated “I am extremely proud to have led our exceptional students through their post 16 journey at NUAST16. Their results reflect their hard work and determination.”
While all students have done incredibly well, some standout individual achievements include:
Florence Hadfield achieved A* in Maths and A Grades in Further Maths and Physics and is going on to Warick to study Mathematics.
Danius Teiserskas achieved triple distinction* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering and is going to study Mechanical Engineering at Nottingham Trent University
Ellie Collins achieved triple distinction* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering and is looking forward to studying Product Design at Nottingham Trent University.
Anujin Munkhbat is going to Imperial College, London to study Medicine after achieving A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
Ethan Yiu achieved A*A*A*A* in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics and hope to be going on to study Medicine at Imperial College, London.
Ashdon Bernard goes on to study a Degree Apprenticeship at Rolls Royce after achieving A*A*A* in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Muhammad Saim achieved A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and goes to study Medicine at the University of Sheffield.
