F1 in Schools
F1 in Schools is an exciting was of offering Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) related subjects in an exciting way with the support if the Formula 1 community.
During the project students will use CAD software to design an F1 car that will be powered by C02 and fired down a race track at speeds up to 70 mph. They will then use CAM machines to manufacture these cars to extremely high tolerances before testing their aerodynamics in a wind tunnel.
Successful teams will have the opportunity to represent NUAST at regional, national and international level!
