Product Design A-Level
What is Product Design?
Product Design is focused towards consumer products and applications; their analysis in respect of materials, process, components and marketability to understand their selection and uses in industrial and commercial practices of product development.
Our subject encourages creative thinking leading to design innovation, the course is centered around the iterative design processes of ‘explore / create / evaluate’, preparing learners to become critical and creative designers and informed consumers of the future.

Year 12
In year 12 you will learn the theory required for the subject.
Year 13
In year 13 students have the opportunity to put their new found knowledge to the test by designing, developing and building a product, working with a stakeholder to refine their design.
