Course description
A-level Law is comprised of four modules that cover different areas of Law:
- English legal system. The workings of laws, parliament, the courts and the legal profession. Students study this module as an accompaniment to the law they study later in depth.
- Tort. The Torts of negligence, occupier’s liability and nuisance. This forms the basis of the first exam.
- Criminal Law. Students look at murder, manslaughter, theft and offences against the person. This forms the basis of the second exam.
- Contract Law. Students explore the formation, content and discharge of a contract. This forms the basis of the third exam.
